Blackburn school seeking KS2 Classroom Teacher

Job description

Blackburn school seeking KS2 Classroom Teacher

A large, two-form entry school, based on the outskirts of Blackburn town centre, are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher from September up until Christmas on a full-time basis. The school follows Lancashire's key learning statements for planning and assessing. High expectations and knowledge of engaging behaviour management strategies are required, with the role commencing at the beginning of the academic year, when rules and routines will need to be implemented.

The Head Teacher, who is highly supportive and is eager to welcome a new member of staff into their team, will be the main point of contact for the job. They have requested that the successful candidate presents the following:

  • Newly or fully qualified teacher
  • Recent experience working alongside children in Key Stage 2
  • Good knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent behavioural management skills
  • Hard working and able to hit the ground running

If you think you have the qualities, experience and qualifications specified, then please contact Teaching Personnel Lancashire.
