Behaviour mentors

Job description

Manchester based secondary school are looking for behaviour mentors to work in their alternative provision units for the new academic year in September. Due to the increased level of students in the schools alternative provision there is an opportunity for an additional learning mentor in the SEN team.

If you are currently working in an educational setting or in a relevant line of work of youth work, sports coaching, health and social care you would be well suited to the role. The school are looking for someone who has a clear passion for enhancing the learning outcomes of students they are working with. This is a full time post starting in September working with students who have social emotional mental health support requirements and are currently disengaged with their learning.

Situated on the Manchester/Trafford boarder the school has outstanding transport links for those on public transport and is situated just off the M60 and A6010.

Desirable criteria for the behaviour mentor role;

**Previous or relatable experience working with young people

**University degree or relevant qualifications

**Work based or educational references

**Eligibility for a fully enhanced DBS certificate
