EYFS Teaching Assistant supporting a child with Autism

September start

Do you have previous experience supporting Autistic children?

A mainstream Primary School in Salford, M30 are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to their Early Years Foundation Stage team to support a new pupil with Autism (ASC) on a full time basis.

The pupil is a lovely boy. He is non verbal and not aggressive. He needs support, personal care and help integrating into school life. If you have a calm and nurturing nature and have experience with children with SEN this would be a perfect role for you. The role will be full time 5 days a week.

The School is based in Salford, M30 is easily accessible by local transport links running directly to and from the town centre and surrounding areas. The school has a more than average cohort of pupils with SEN, and as such require additional support staff to work with them to support statemented pupils.

  • Full time role supporting a pupil with Autism (ASC) starting September with the possibility of becoming permanent.
  • Competitive rate of pay of £300 - £350 a week
