SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant required for range of SEN Schools and Referral Units - immediate start.

Are you experienced in the field of SEN and wish to utilise your skills and knowledge to support identified pupils in a Specialist school?

Are you seeking a full-time support position, commencing with immediate effect that will provide you will invaluable experiences to enhance a career within the education sector?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large amount of SEN schools in Brighton and Hove to help with the recruitment of SEN Teaching Assistants. Due to an increase in pupils requiring additional support this academic year, the school wish to expand their support department and appoint a full time SEN Teaching Assistant at the earliest convenience for the remainder of the academic year. 

  • Full time SEN Teaching Assistant required.
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Working with identified pupils with EHCP’s (needs include ASC, ADHD and SEMH).
  • Earn up to GBP1200 per month whilst gaining invaluable school based experience.

This SEN Teaching Assistant position will involve supporting pupils with daily school life, working with the SEN Co-Ordinator and Inclusion Manager to implement strategies to improve behaviour, monitor progress and promote inclusion of all pupils throughout school and to record any significant improvements in students with EHCP’s.

**It is essential that the incoming SEN Teaching Assistant has previous experience working with young people with a range of needs, and has a strong understanding of how to support specific SEN within a school setting or has worked in the care sector**

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
