As a Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to help students access learning, regulate emotions, and reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally. This isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to truly change lives.
What You’ll Be Doing – Every Day is Different

Providing 1:1 and small group support

Using sensory strategies and communication tools (PECS, Makaton, AAC)

Encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence

Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and physical or learning disabilities

Helping create engaging, inclusive classroom environments

Working closely with parents and multi-disciplinary professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
