Teacher of Science for Easter or September 2019

Job description

The school, based in the navel town Gosport, an area of Hampshire is looking for an ambitious Teacher (QTS) of General Science to join them from Easter or September 2019. The school need an experienced practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning who can drive the department forward. The school are looking to improve their provision for Science for their students which is why for the right candidate, leadership opportunities could be available. The school welcomes applications from MPS and UPS teachers.

The school offers Science at KS3 and GCSE and believe in the potential of great science provision to enhance a child's schools experience and education and want to expand their team further ambitiously to raise attainment and aspirations in science. It is crucial that the successful candidate is an excellent teacher who themselves are ambitious to stretch the boundaries with their pedagogy to make their lessons enjoyable, engaging and to promote a love for scientific research.
