Job description

An "outstanding" school in Wokingham are seeking a creative and dynamic teacher to be available for permanent and part time cover for years 3-6 (KS2). This Primary school sets high standards academically but also gives a lot of pastoral care and has worked hard to provide excellent classroom and playground facilities.

The School is looking for a confident teacher who can show strong leadership and understands the important transition between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. They are keen for an individual who understands the Key Stage 2 curriculum and can offer consolidation of Key Stage 1 learning. Experience with pupil interventions is preferred and Teaching Personnel can offer additional support with this through training courses and access to additional resources online.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Able to support and contribute to the raising of attainment throughout the school
  • Dedicated to preparing pupils for the transition into Key Stage 3
  • Able to effectively accommodate pupils with varying levels of learning
  • An effective classroom practitioner with subject knowledge in English, Maths and Science

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
