Job description

Job Title: Qualified Tutor

Location:  Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions to students in a one-on-one or group setting
  • Create personalised learning plans based on students' needs and goals
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Provide feedback to students and parents on performance and areas for improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and educational best practises

Required Qualifications:

  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience as a tutor or teacher
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and tools
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Experience in working with students with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
