Job description

Job Title: Core Subjects - Qualified Tutor / Teacher

Location: Bedford

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve
  • Develop and implement individualised teaching strategies for students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and achievements

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Education or related field
  • Experience in teaching core subjects at the appropriate level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Teaching core subjects at the appropriate level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Proficient in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Participation in continuous professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
