Job Description: Qualified Tutor / Teacher

Location: Bedford

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring and teaching sessions to students
  • Develop and implement educational programmes and lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
  • Experience working with students of varying abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of teaching methods and strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet individual student needs
  • Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in tutoring or mentoring roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
