The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant:

I am recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 or in small groups of children who have ASD (Autism). The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have clear communication skills with experience working with children who have challenging behaviour. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you me be able to deal with difficult situations professionally and have varied de-escalation techniques; training such as Team Teach can be provided to help with enhancing these skills.

 

The School - SEN Teaching Assistant:

This well-run Mainstream Primary school is in the Camborne area of Cornwall. They provide education to children aged from 5-11 and have an amazing headteacher who is extremely supportive.
