Full-Time Site Supervisor – Secondary School in Chorley
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and skilled Site Supervisor to join our dedicated team at a thriving secondary school in Chorley, starting September 2025. This is a permanent role for the right candidate, offering a vital opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive educational environment.
About the Role:
As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the school premises are safe, clean, secure, and well maintained. This includes supervising cleaning and maintenance staff, carrying out minor repairs, managing contractors, and maintaining health and safety standards across the site.
Start date: September
Contract type: Permanet following sucsessful probation
Working Hours – Rotating Shift Pattern:
Week 1:

Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
-
Friday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Week 2:
-
Monday to Friday: 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
(30-minute unpaid lunch break included each day)
What We’re Looking For:
-
Previous experience in a site/maintenance or premises role (school setting desirable)
-
Strong understanding of health & safety and safeguarding
-
Practical skills in DIY, basic repairs, and maintenance
-
Ability to supervise cleaning and premises staff
-
Proactive, dependable, and flexible approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
