Are you a recent Science graduate looking to gain experience in education? A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Levenshulme is seeking a dedicated Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

This role is ideal for aspiring science teachers, educational psychologists, or those pursuing careers in STEM education or youth development.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) across KS3 and KS4

• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to reinforce subject knowledge and boost confidence

• Help prepare practical experiments and maintain lab equipment

• Assist with classroom management and engagement strategies

• Work alongside experienced science teachers and pastoral staff to support student progress

Ideal Candidate:

• A degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or similar)

• Enthusiastic about inspiring young people in STEM subjects

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive, patient, and organised approach

• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
