Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School (Levenshulme)
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Daily Rate: £89 – £100 (Depending on Experience)

A diverse and inclusive secondary school in Levenshulme is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This rewarding role involves supporting students with additional needs, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), to ensure they can access the curriculum and succeed in school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for education, especially those looking to progress into teaching, SEN support, or educational psychology.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional learning needs

• Work closely with teaching staff to deliver differentiated and inclusive lessons

• Support pupils in developing social, emotional, and behavioural skills

• Help monitor and track student progress

• Contribute to a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting

• Empathetic, resilient, and committed to inclusive education

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Proactive and adaptable in a classroom environment

• An interest in SEN, pastoral support, or youth development
