SEN Teacher

Job description

An SEN school local to Basildon, Essex are seeking a Primary Specialist SEN Teacher to start in September 2021 on a full time basis. They offer a range of rich learning opportunities for pupils aged 5-19 years and they are currently looking for someone to teach within their Primary School.

To be considered for this role you will need to:

  • Have experience teaching SEN students (with UK QTS or equivalent qualification)
  • Provide support for pupils ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of education and SEN plans (EHCP'S)
  • Establish trusted relationships with pupils and work with them on an individual needs basis
  • Encourage pupils to interact in classroom learning and with their peers
  • Promote self confidence and set individual tailored goals and challenges
