Primary Teacher

Job description

Teaching personnel are currently seeking dedicated Primary teachers to fill a number of vacancies across our north Plymouth schools. There are several roles available all of which call for skilled and passionate educators. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an NQT there may be a role for you. Please see details below.

The responsibilities of the roles will include but not limited to:

  • Providing planned and unplanned cover a cross a range of Primary year groups
  • Delivering engaging and informative lessons to meet the MATs high standard of education
  • Being flexible to cover in the short term absence of staff
  • Adhering to the policies of the school
  • Having effective behaviour/classroom management skills

The successful candidates must have:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • A driving license and a car is desirable but may not be a necessity
  • A recent DBS or be willing to apply for one
  • A passion for education and teaching 
  • Experience of working in Primary schools or education settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
