Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor/ Learning Support Assistant to work within our client Secondary Schools in the Colchester, Essex area.

An ideal candidate will have experience working with challenging behaviour, the role is to work on a 1:1 basis with a Key Stage 3 pupil. Excellent behaviour management skills will be required, alongside a desire to motivate pupils to stay focused on their learning. This role can be suited to a Graduate/ Future Teacher who is looking to gain a position within a school prior to joining a Teacher Training. This LSA position can offer you a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a local Secondary School who work with the Colchester Teacher Training Consortium.

Working with Teaching Personnel we can offer you:

  • GBP300 - GBP375 per week, via PAYE

A Behaviour Mentor/ Learning Mentor role can be a rewarding role that gives you a chance to develop and inspire young people. It is essential for a successful candidate to be engaging and passionate, plus have the ability to be flexible and calm. Building a strong rapport is vital, we are therefore looking for someone who is available to work full time.
