Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a school in the North Liverpool area to recruit a Physics Teacher to start for a 2-term contract through to the end of the academic year. Should the candidate be successful in the post then they will be considered for a permanent position starting in September 2018. The school is looking for a teacher who would be comfortable delivering Physics up to A-Level and be experienced delivering the new science specifications.

The school has very high expectations for Behaviour and pupils attitude to learning. They have been commended for the behaviour in school and the progress made by pupils. The school are now looking for pupils with a strong ethic regarding behaviour management to uphold the improvements which have been made.

A suitable candidate should be experienced delivering science across all 3 specialisms to GCSE level and Physics to A-level. The school follows AQA science across both GCSE and A-level courses and so experience working with this exam board would be preferable, however, not essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
