Graduate Support Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to hire immediately to offer one to one support for Primary and Secondary pupils.

 

They are looking for Teaching Assistants/Tutors who are available full time/part time and keen to kick start or continue a career in teaching.

Job role

  • Working  one to one with pupils
  • Using reward based learning techniques to help the child learn key skills
  • Offering emotional support to pupils
  • Recording pupils progress and liaising with professionals
  • Supporting pupils on with extra curricular activities

Successful Candidates:

  • Experience with children and adults with Special Educational Needs. (Desired not essential as full training will be provided)
  • Degree in Psychology, Health and Social, Childcare or Education (Desired)
  • A-Levels qualified (Essential)
  • Committed  to taking on  additional training  (Essential)
  • Dedicated to a career in Education, especially working with Special Educational Needs
  • Patient, nurturing  and resilient

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
