English Teacher needed for 'Outstanding' Yarm school

Teaching Personnel Teesside is currently seeking a qualified English teacher to fill a position teaching English to GCSE classes in one of our 'Outstanding' client schools in Yarm. The successful candidate should take on initiative, be able to motivate their class, and maintain engagement with the syllabus. You will also be expected to identify students who may no be on-track to achieve their targets, ensuring to take on steps to tailor their learning to encourage progression. OVERVIEW

  • Role commences next term
  • Using the exam board's specifications to produce a scheme of learning, tailoring lessons to maximise student achievement
  • Full-time role
  • 1:1 and group sessions for disadvantaged students, as well as students you desire
  • Pay scale ranging from £120-160
  • Potential for a fixed-tem contract, based on the candidate's compatibility with the role and the school

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
