Job description

Our client school in Tameside are looking to appoint a learning mentor for September. This is a full time post providing additional support to students who have moderate learning difficulties, social and emotional support requirements and are at risk of exclusion.

You will be working within a supportive department under the guidance of the schools SEN co-ordinator. This post would be well suited to someone with a Teaching Assistant qualification or experience supporting students in an educational or youth work setting. Graduates or social care workers are also encouraged to apply.

Initially this learning mentor role will be on a long term introductory period through Teaching Personnel from September until January 2018. Situated in the SK14 post code the school is just off the M67 and has a train station half a mile away.

Although previous school based experience would be beneficial graduates or those looking to pursue a career in education are more then welcome to apply.
