Tutor - SEMH

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit several experienced, one to one tutors for SEMH and LAC and young adults in the Horsham area. Tutors will be expected to teach cross curricular subjects and independently plan and provide their own learning resources for a range of ability levels and Key Stages.

Who are Teaching Personnel Looking For?

Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Teacher with QTS Status, or someone who has previous experience working in a school or an educational environment.


  • A Teacher with QTS (or equivalent credentials)
  • Have or would be willing to secure a valid DBS
  • Have previous tuition experience
  • Have worked with SEN, SEMH or Looked After children or vulnerable children


  • Knowledge, training or experience in Attachment Disorder and Childhood Trauma
  • Knowledge, training, or experience with ASD
  • Have the additional relevant training, Continuous Professional Development, and qualifications (dependant on the client’s needs)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
