Job Title: PE Supply Teachers (Male & Female) – September 2025 Start

Teaching Personnel is recruiting both male and female PE supply teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Northamptonshire, delivering predominantly practical PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Whether you're seeking full-time, part-time, or long-term positions, we have opportunities to suit your availability and ambitions.

We’re Looking For:

• Qualified PE teachers (QTS or equivalent), or sports coaches with school-based experience

• Confident deliverers of practical PE sessions, across a range of sports

• Teachers who can adapt quickly to new school environments and routines

• Strong role models who can positively engage pupils and manage behaviour

• Passionate individuals who promote physical activity, teamwork, and resilience

Expectations for Daily PE Cover:

• Deliver engaging and safe practical PE lessons in line with the school’s curriculum

• Supervise a range of activities including football, netball, rugby, basketball, athletics, and fitness

• Encourage participation, fair play, and positive behaviour

• Ensure correct use of sports equipment and promote safe practice at all times

• Liaise with the school’s PE department to follow existing lesson plans

• Take registers and manage student conduct in line with school policies

• Support pupils of all abilities, including those with additional needs

• Be dressed appropriately for practical teaching (sportswear and suitable footwear)
