Job Title: PE Supply Teachers (Male & Female) – September 2025 Start
Location: Various Secondary Schools Across Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time, and Long-term Supply Opportunities Available
Salary: Competitive daily rates, paid weekly (based on experience and responsibilities)

Teaching Personnel is recruiting both male and female PE supply teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Northamptonshire, delivering predominantly practical PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Whether you're seeking full-time, part-time, or long-term positions, we have opportunities to suit your availability and ambitions.
We’re Looking For:

Qualified PE teachers (QTS or equivalent), or sports coaches with school-based experience

Confident deliverers of practical PE sessions, across a range of sports
-
Teachers who can adapt quickly to new school environments and routines
-
Strong role models who can positively engage pupils and manage behaviour
-
Passionate individuals who promote physical activity, teamwork, and resilience
Expectations for Daily PE Cover:
-
Deliver engaging and safe practical PE lessons in line with the school’s curriculum
-
Supervise a range of activities including football, netball, rugby, basketball, athletics, and fitness
-
Encourage participation, fair play, and positive behaviour
-
Ensure correct use of sports equipment and promote safe practice at all times
-
Liaise with the school’s PE department to follow existing lesson plans
-
Take registers and manage student conduct in line with school policies
-
Support pupils of all abilities, including those with additional needs

Be dressed appropriately for practical teaching (sportswear and suitable footwear)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
