Job Title: General Day-to-Day Supply Teachers – September 2025 Start
Location: Secondary Schools Across Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Flexible Daily Supply / Short-Term Cover
Salary: Competitive daily rates, paid weekly via PAYE

Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible, day-to-day work without the long-term commitment? Teaching Personnel is seeking reliable and adaptable supply teachers to support secondary schools across Northamptonshire from September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who want to maintain a work-life balance while staying active in the classroom. Whether you’re looking to work 1 day or 5 days a week, we can offer you work that suits your schedule and preferences.


Ideal for:

  • Qualified Secondary Teachers (QTS or equivalent)

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking classroom experience

  • Retired teachers or part-time educators returning to the classroom

  • Teachers between contracts or exploring different schools


Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons across various subjects (no planning required)

  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

  • Take registers and provide feedback for the class teacher

  • Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups, and classroom expectations

  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
