Teaching Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a 2 form entry primary school in the centre of Brighton, that are looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to work a longside, a pupil in Y3 who has additional needs.

The role is a full time position starting after October half term on the 2nd November and will run through until the end of the academic year. The child has recently joined the school and has complex SEMH and needs 1:1 support throughtout the day. They have an EHCP already in place. You will be working outside of the classroom for the first half term and slowly intergrating them back into the classroom.

To be considered for this role you will need to have the relevant experience listed below:

  • Experience working with children with additional needs
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working within primary schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
