Job description

Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with our client School who require a learning support assistant to work on a 1:1 support basis with pupils who is diagnosed with additional needs. This role is Part time and will start in January 2021. The role will initially be on a timesheets basis with the view to going onto a Permanent contact at the School. You will be required to work with a pupil with physical disabilities, assisting them with personal care and moving & handling.

Hoist training is essential!

 A Learning support assistants’ day can be incredibly varied. You will need to be motivated, flexible and have a can-do attitude.

Ideal Candidate criteria (but not essential)

  • Previous experience working with Teenagers
  • Experience with SEN Support
  • GCSE Maths & English
  • TA Qualification

Essential criteria

  • Hoist trained
  • Motivation
  • Flexibility
  • Positivity
  • Experience or willingness to provide Personal care support
  • Moving & Handling trained or willing to attend Moving & Handling course

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
