Teaching Assistant, Burnley Behavioural Unit

Teaching Assistant are currently working with a partner School to recruit for their September staffing requirements. The School is based in Burnley and caters for pupils of all ages with a range of additional needs including; SEMH Difficulties, ADHD, Autism, ODD, Conduct Disorder and Challenging Behaviours. The School is smaller than average and pupils in this School will display very difficult behaviours, therefore, candidates with their Team Teach training will be favoured, but this is not essential.

The School are seeking a full time member of staff to start from September, on a long term basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The School is based fairly centrally in the Burnley area and candidates must be available to work the full School hours which are 8.35am - 3.15pm Monday - Friday.

The role will start in the new academic year and candidates must be hard working, passionate, empathetic, enthusiastic and seeking a long term role in a forward thinking behavioural unit.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 70 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
