Are you a fully qualified ICT/Computing Teacher?

Are you currently available and looking for the work in the Blackburn area?

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a school in the Blackburn area to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of ICT/Computing. The school is a smaller than average school with approximately 650 pupils on roll. The school is looking for an ICT Teacher who is capable of dealing with challenging behaviour. The school has systems in place to support staff regarding behaviour. The school has gone through a period of rapid improvement recently. The school were successfully able to secure a judgement of 'Good' in their most recent Ofsted inspection. The post is part time and is expected to run through until summer.

NQT's and experienced ICT teachers would be considered for the role. The school is looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 ICT curriculum who would be confident planning and teaching lessons to a variety of pupil abilities and backgrounds. The Teacher must be able to deliver ECDL, CIDA and then KS3 ICT as per the curriculum including basic skills, programming, python etc. A successful candidate would also need to be able to plan effective intervention activities and be willing to deliver intervention with a small cohort of pupils.
