SEN Teaching Assistant – PMLD

Teaching Personnel are representing a primary school in Penzance, Cornwall for the recruitment of an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties joining their Reception class in September 2020.

The role would be ideal for an individual with previous experience in the Care Sector looking for an opportunity to change careers into a school setting. The specific need of the pupil mean it would be ideal for the Teaching Assistant to have experience of PEG feeding and undertaking aspects of personal care.

The ideal candidate will have;

  • Experience or substantial knowledge of working with SEN Experience or knowledge of PEG feeding
  • Experience working in a Care or Residential Sector (desirable) Experience working in a school environment (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
