Job description

Our client school in Salford is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their support department, assisting pupils across KS3 and GCSE with varying levels of learning ability.

The successful candidate should have some experience previously working with pupils who have SEN, preferably within an educational or transferrable setting.

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Flexible Start
  • Based within a secondary school in Bolton
  • Supporting pupils aged 11 – 16 with SEN

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the class teacher and ensuring all pupils are completing their tasks
  • Working alongside other members of staff within the SEN department
  • Monitoring and evaluating pupil progress and reporting back to senior member of staff

The school is located in Salford and is easily accessible via the M62/M66/A580/A56 and for candidates that don’t drive there are public transport links from the surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
