Key Stage 2 Teacher

Are you a Newly or Fully Qualified Teacher seeking a rewarding role within a ‘Good’ local Primary School?

  • Competitive rates, £140 - £170 per day

Teaching Personnel have received a vacancy for a key stage 2 teacher at a Primary School in Burnley. The position is initially to run fr one academic year, with the view to be made permanent hereafter. The behaviour and levels of attainment across the school are considered to be good, as are the school’s facilities and Senior Leadership Team.

The Head Teacher is keen to interview both Newly and Fully Qualified Teachers in order to employ the right person. Recent classroom experience, however, is a necessity, experience within Key Stage 2 is preferable.

The successful candidate will be capable of:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and innovative lessons of an excellent standard, derived from a sound knowledge of the national curriculum and phonics schemes.
  • Addressing gaps in learning due to school closures and aid the children in their reintegration to school life.
  • Consistently implementing the school’s strong behavioural strategy with confidence as to enforce high standards towards learning and the classroom environment.
  • Establishing positive and trusting relationships with the students and to create a positive learning attitude.

Working within this school, you would be part of a friendly, bubbly team who pride themselves on their positive working relationships and team dynamics. The wider team possess a wealth of experience and are more than happy to help any new practitioner settle into the school. As a class teacher, you would also be assisted by a full time Teaching Assistant who is familiar with the school day routine and other relevant policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
