SEN (MLD & SLD) Teacher needed for school based in Warwickshire

Job description

This SEN school provides education for pupils with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism from 11 to 16 years of age. It is a relatively small school, with approximately 122 pupils. There are 2 classes in each year, and up to 8 pupils in a class, each with a class teacher (yourself) and 2 teaching assistants.

The role:
* A Fully qualified SEN Teacher with SLD/MLD experience and Secondary based experience
* Full time long term to start in Sept 18 to start off on a temporary contract with potential to go permanent
* SEN Secondary School in Warwickshire

The ideal candidate:
* Must have QTS and taught in the UK
* Must have PECS and Makaton training / experience
* Experience working with ASC and PMLD is essential

If you have training in Manual Handling, NASEN or Team Teach this is an advantage but not essential. The role would start in the new term and would potentially go permanent for the correct candidate after the probation period.
