SEN Learning Support Assistant

Join an outstanding secondary school in Manchester seeking to appoint an SEN Learning Support Assistant on a full-time basis from April until the end of the academic year.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will support the learning of students with additional needs and Special Educational Needs in lessons and in small intervention groups. They will motivate students from a variety of backgrounds, acting as a positive role model to ensure that any barriers to learning are removed

Experience of working with students with additional needs and Special Educational Needs is desirable for this role.

To apply for this role all applicants must possess a C or above in GCSE Maths and English and must have experience working with students aged 11-16, ideally in a secondary school or educational setting.

This popular secondary school is easily accessible via Metrolinks and bus routes from the city centre and surrounding areas. The school has excellent facilities throughout and has received excellent Ofsted reports for academic achievements.

Highlights of this role:

  • GBP1350 - GBP1450 per month.
