A large inner city Manchester Primary School in Hulme are looking to appoint an experienced Support Worker to join their supportive staff team.
To apply for this post you will have a background in working with troubled young people and young adults and have worked in educational, health and care settings. The role will focus on providing the schools with an additional layer of supportive behaviour management.
The learning support assistant will work either on a one-to-one basis or in pairs based on the pupils who need support in this area. You could also be asked to work within the school and possibly with outside activities to encourage trust and help build confidence. The length of the assignment will be dependent on the development of the child/children and will be judged on their improved confidence, engagement and positive outlook.
