PRU Teachers required in Darwen!

Job description

Teaching Personnel work exclusively with a Darwen based School who have a need for THREE TEACHERS starting between now and after the Easter holidays.

The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviours.

The School are hoping to appoint three hard working Teachers to take on permanent contracts eventually.

The positions are listed below, the pay for all roles are negotiable but generally dependent on experience the rates will be between £100 - £140 per day.

Position One: Primary Trained KS2 (ideally) Teacher with Behaviour experience!

The School are hoping to appoint a primary trained Teacher with experience working within a nurture group ideally. The role will be to deliver a range of subjects around a KS2 level and you will be expected to manage behaviour effectively whilst maintaining empathy towards pupils who are struggling with Anxiety.

Position Two: Maths Teacher

The School are hoping to appoint an experienced Maths specialist with KS3/4 experience and experience managing challenging behaviours. The School will expect you to teach Maths across KS3/4 and you must have strong behaviour management skills and ideally experience working within a behavioural unit or challenging setting.

Position Three: English Teacher

The School are looking to appoint an English specialist with experience across KS3/4 and the role is to start after the Easter holidays. You will have to manage quite challenging behaviours and the School do expect you to teach KS4 GCSE curriculum.
