Learning Support Assistants Needed for 1:1 Nurture Roles in Primary Schools in Greenwich

  • Local mainstream primary schools in Greenwich, Charlton, Thamesmead, Abbeywood and Eltham
  • 1:1 support roles

Teaching Personnel is looking for teachers and learning support assistants with experience of delivering effective pupil interventions for our client primary schools in the Borough of Greenwich.

• Work is available on a full-time or part-time basis

• Delivering intervention programmes on a one-to-one and small group basis

• Encouraging pupils and building their confidence to learn

• Helping pupils to reach their full academic potential

Our ‘Nurture’ intervention package focuses on supporting pupils who have low self- esteem who may suffer from anxiety or anger management issues and as a result may be underachieving in schools. This role involves supporting pupils in both their emotional well being and academic achievement, helping to build confidence whilst also improving levels.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
