MLD Teaching Assistant

  • School caters for students with SLD and ASC
  • Car Park for parking at this school
  • Work hours per day are 9am - 4pm

Primary SEN School in Hillingdon is recruiting for teaching assistants to start in January 2018

Are you looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant position in West London?

Are you available for either day to day or full time work?

I have a secondary school for children with special needs in the West London area, who have opportunities for Teaching Assistants looking for either day to day cover or full time work. The school caters for a mixture of complex needs and mild to severe autism, with classes holding up to 10 students, a teacher and up to 3 other TAs.

I am looking for Teaching Assistants who:

• Are able to support ASC, including some with challenging behaviour

• Can provide personal care where necessary, for students with PMLD

• Have experience of supporting children with SEN either in primary or secondary

• Can provide excellent references from previous employment

• Have a DBS on the update service, or be willing to complete a new application asap

• Are able to travel to this school in Peckham, for an 08:30am start

• Hold a level 3 qualification relating to working with children (desirable but not essential)
