Job description

EYFS HLTA – Sheffield S10 Area

Do you love helping little learners grow and shine? We’re looking for an experienced EYFS HLTA to support fantastic nursery and reception settings across S10 and nearby!

This is a perfect role if you’re confident in leading learning within early years and have the right qualifications to step into a lead support role.

What we’re looking for:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent Level 4+ in Supporting Teaching & Learning

  • Full and relevant Level 3 in Early Years (e.g. CACHE Level 3, Diploma for the Early Years Workforce)

  • Solid experience in EYFS settings – nursery or reception

  • Confident supporting learning through play, phonics, and early literacy/numeracy

  • Someone who’s warm, reliable, and full of creative ideas!

You’ll be:

  • Supporting and sometimes leading groups or whole-class activities

  • Assisting with planning, observations, and next steps

  • Helping create a calm, nurturing classroom environment

  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
