Computer and Graphics Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant with a strong background or interest in computing and digital graphics to join a dedicated SEN school team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require a more personalised, structured approach to learning.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff in the delivery of IT and digital graphics-based lessons, including software use, digital design, and basic coding
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them stay engaged and achieve their learning goals
- Use your technical skills to assist with practical projects and creative tasks, offering guidance where needed
- Help manage behaviour and emotional regulation through consistent, supportive strategies
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience or qualifications in computing, digital graphics, IT support, or a similar field
- Shows a calm, confident, and patient approach to working with young people with SEMH and SEN needs
- Can demonstrate strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting learning
- Is creative, adaptable and confident using a range of digital tools and platforms
- Brings energy and commitment to a team-oriented, student-first environment
- Has their own car and driving licence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
