An 'Outstanding' secondary school based in Hull is looking for a Maths teacher to teach KS3 & KS4 students. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, prepare and present lessons which cater to the needs of a range of abilities within the class as well as mark work and facilitate pupil development. This post is to start immediately and the school has a fantastic Maths faculty who are looking to meet teachers as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Planning and preparing lessons in line with subject schemes of work, using appropriate teaching methods and resources

- Marking and monitoring students’ class and homework providing constructive oral and written feedback

- Organising and partaking in extracurricular activities; outings, social activities and sporting events

Qualifications:

- QTS, QTLS, NQT or FQT

- Degree in mathematics is desirable

The right candidate for this position will have excellent knowledge of the curriculum. You need to be flexible, patient and confident about working with children and be pro-active in supporting and engaging pupils in the classroom.
