We are now seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant for a very welcoming primary school in Earslfield, the borough of Wandsworth.

** SEN Teaching Assistant - Long Term Contract until the end of the academic year

**1:1 Child with Learning Difficulties- SEN Teaching Assistant role

** 3-11 Primary School - Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant

** SEN Teaching Assistant post in Earsfield

**SEN Teaching Assistant - Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) with challenging behaviour (BESD/ADHD)

** TeamTeach training beneficial but not essential

** SEN Teaching Assistant working closely with class teacher - Great opportunity for recent graduate looking to become a teacher in the future.

** Would suit experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with experience of learning difficulties and EBD/ADHD Early Years children

The SEN Teaching Assistant role is to start this month, the successful applicant will be working 1:1 with a 4 year old child with learning difficulties. The child is also presenting with challenging behaviour, so we are require an SEN Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management.

The SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve a combination of in class support and 1:1 work outside the classroom. The class is very well staffed with several adults so you will be working in a dynamic and helpful team. You will be required to start immediately for a role that will most probably last the whole academic year.

The primary school is located in the London Borough of Wandsworth. It is a well-funded and well-staffed primary school and the provision for SEN children is especially good. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will benefit from a vibrant London teaching environment and fantastic transport links straight to the door of the school!

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have previous experience working with Early Years children with behavioural difficulties, whether this be mild or severe. The child can be challenging so we need a resilient individual who is pro-active and full or energy! Additional learning or qualifications in Special Educational Needs are a bonus for the role. The role would suit a recent graduate who is looking for some experience before going on to do teacher training.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
