Learning Support Assistant Positions

Job description

A large 6 form entry school in Worthing are currently looking to recruit and experienced Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with special education needs. This position will be on a part time basis either working 5 mornings or 3 full days. You will be required to have experience working 1:1 with children with autism, aspergus or social emotional behavioural issues. The school have stressed the importance of having the necessary experience. You would be working with the child in a classroom setting supporting them with all of their reading, writing and numeric activities. An experience of the KS2 curriculum is desired but not essential. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
