Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a client school in Poole, seeking an enthusiastic, resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

The school is a primary school catering for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education and/or have Autism. The pupils can be unpredictable and can display challenging behaviour. The school runs like a mainstream primary setting, with small class sizes of around 6 pupils. The school have a very good training programme that runs after school for all staff, as well as regular inset days.

This is a full time Teaching Assistant role, starting after February half term and ongoing for the academic year.

To be succesful in this post you will need to be resilient, confident supporting behaviour and pro-active.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
