EYFS Teaching Assistant -Bury

Teaching Personnel is currently working with a larger than average primary school situated in the Bury (BL9) area, is looking for a teaching assistant with previous experience in the Early Years to start on the 2nd September 2019 until the end of the academic year.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to work as a general teaching assistant with the pupils, supporting and leading small phonics sessions for pupils to develop their fine motor skills. The school also has a focus on support the pupil's as they 'learn through play' to build and develop social skills and complete observations.

The Head teacher is looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Holds a teaching assistant Level 2 or above qualification. .
  • Experienced within reception or EYFS classes.
  • Is motivated and enthusiastic about high quality child-led learning both indoors and outdoors.
  • Is confident, caring and reliable.
