Behaviour Support Assistant

Job description

Do you have a passion for supporting students with their learning when they become disengaged? Do you have experience working with students who display challenging behaviour within the classroom?

Our partner school are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to work with students across KS3 and KS4 in lessons and within their Behaviour Support Unit. If you are looking for a new rewarding experience supporting behaviour, learning and development – this position may be perfect for you.

  • Supporting students behaviour across KS3 and KS4
  • Working with students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Full time temporary position, beginning in September
  • Attractive daily pay rates, up to GBP70 per day depending on previous experiences

The school have a large Behaviour Support Unit attached to the main school, where students who are disengaged from learning can go and seek support with class work, and have time to relax and regain focus.

By working within our partner school in Oldham, you will be fully supported by the school SENCO, and Learning Support Assistants. The school is located near to the M60 and is accessible via public transportation links.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
