Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for individuals who are confident and passionate about working with vulnerable children who can present emotional and behavioural challenges. We will welcome candidates from backgrounds such as:

  • Youth Support Worker
  • Armed Forces
  • Ex Police
  • Outdoor/ Sports

The ideal candidate will have the ability to set appropriate professional boundaries with students to ensure that challenging behaviour is dealt with in an efficient manner. You will be working with children who are extremely vulnerable and who are behind in their academic studies due to their Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will be required to support students on a 1:1 or small group basis and it is vital that you have a calm and empathetic nature with the ability to relate and engage with all students.

Additional training such as Team Teach is desired, however the appropriate training will be given to the successful candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
