Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for Primary School in Cardiff

Are you a qualified SEN Teaching assistant with classroom and one to one Experience if your answer is yes, then this could well be the role for you?

Teaching Personnel have been asked by a client SEN School to help them recruit for a number of SEN Teaching Assistant with SEN experience. The school itself is located in Cardiff with plenty of travel options, the role is a long term full time position with a potential view to becoming permanent.

The role will involve working one to one and within a classroom setting, the role will involve working with Primary aged children. Experience with severe Autism and Asperges and Challenging Behaviour will be beneficial. Common characteristics of the pupils are that some have difficulty with social relationships, resistance to changes in routine & difficulty with verbal and non-verbal communication. SEN Teaching Assistants must be flexible and work hard to provide a safe, secure and positive environment.

The pay range for this SEN Teaching Assistant role is to £48.42-£60 per day depending on experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
