Youth Worker - Secondary School

  • Full time position as a cover supervisor within an Outstanding secondary school in Rochdale
  • Covering full classes in the absence of teachers, delivering pre-set work to pupils and ensuring pupils stay on task
  • Attractive pay of up to £65 per day

Do you hold experience as a youth worker supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour? Would you like to work within a secondary school as a cover supervisor supporting pupils learning across all support areas?

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and hold previous experience supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour. As a cover supervisor at this school you will hold a number of responsibilities including;

*Covering full classes in the absence of teachers in certain circumstances such as; sickness absence, in house training, PPA time

*Delivering pre-set work to pupils and ensuring pupils stay on task

*Ensuring pupil behaviour is kept to a minimal and no disruptions occur

*Delivering a range of subjects including; Maths, English, Science, PE and Humanities
