Year 1 Teaching Assistant - Thornbury

Job description

The head teacher of a fantastic school in Thornbury is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work alongside the class teacher in Year 1. This is a single form entry village school that has been commented on by other staff as being a fantastic and nurturing school so you will be joining a dedicated and supportive team. This is a full-time position is to start in September and is to run up until the end of the academic year.

The ideal candidate:
* Is committed to promoting and enhancing the Christian ethos of the school.
* Is able to adopt a creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
* Has the ability to challenge, engage and motivate children.
* Can form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
* Flexibility to support children across KS1.
