Teaching Assistant Scarborough

We have a fantastic opportunity to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant based in Scarborough. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a passion for working with pupils who have a wide range of needs. The role will start in September 2019 for the new academic year.

You will need to have experience working with moderate or severe learning difficulties, speech and language difficulties, autism and/behavioural social and emotional difficulties. The school is a specialist provision that provides education for children ageing from 4 to 16; the role will require you to build positive relationships with all students that are assigned to you.

  • 1 on 1 or group work within a specialist school
  • You will support the delivery of teaching, and learning in key, core and functional skills
  • You will help to develop students to become responsible citizens
  • You will receive specialist training and support
  • Work in an Ofsted rated good school
  • Previous Teacher Assistant experience desirable but not essential
